Experience South Tyrol/Südtirol by mountain bike: the diverse landscape of the Merano countryside provides a varied mountain biking region of 300-3,000m a.s.l. with tour options leading from palm trees to glacier. Comfortable trails lead between mountain huts, where both Italian pasta and traditional South Tyrolean dumplings (Knödel in German) are served.
The Bike Highline Merano connects the mountain restaurants and huts along the Nörderberg mountain near Naturno/Naturns, and leads for 25km through the mountain landscape of the Val Venosta/Vinschgau Valley.
The Texelgruppe Nature Park and the rustic Val d'Ultimo/Ultental Valley offer single tracks for mountain bikes. Mountain bikers can also conquer other more demanding routes in South Tyrol together with guides from the Ötzi Bike Academy – thanks to the mild climate this is possible almost year round.

The modern cycling path follows down from Reschenpass at 1.500 m. sealevel down to the palms of Merano.
You can use the train to lift up the Vinschgau Valley, rent a bike and cruise down the beautyfull Valley.
